An exclusive, atmospheric venue, The Great Barn features warm Cotswold stone walls and high beamed ceilings, forming part of this 18th-century barn. Cosy log fires, full bar service and fabulous, flexible catering from canapes to full three-course served meals are all available.

We’re nestled in 250-acres of idyllic Oxfordshire countryside and housed in a breathtaking 18th-century barn. With ample indoor and outdoor space, The Great Barn is a party venue for all seasons; a roaring log fire and thick stone walls on a cold winter’s night, or the warmth of a long summer evening on our extensive terrace.
In addition to our party hosting ability, The Great Barn is also home to a wide variety of corporate activities, from clay shooting to rage buggy driving and everything in-between. Our location
The Great Barn is situated on the Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire border and is easily accessible.
If travelling by road, we’re placed conveniently close to the M40 and A43 for easy access from London, the South and the Midlands. We also have ample on-site parking. If travelling by train, we’re only a short (15 minute) taxi ride away from both Bicester and Banbury railway stations.
Our party facilities
No party is complete without great food and at The Great Barn, we’ve been working with Kearney’s, our sole caterers, for over 15 years. Working with you we can prepare a menu that suits any palate, budget and occasion. We can provide cocktail canapes, buffet meals and full three-course formal meals.
We also provide a full bar service, stocked with a wide variety of drinks to suit all tastes. Let the party begin!
